What does God think about war?
All through scripture we find that God has a very specific purpose for the military. “Turn the other cheek” never implied that we should not defend ourselves. God, Himself, ordered His people to army against evil. Throughout history, He has used the strong to defend the weak. God knew strong forces would be necessary to eliminate evil and His enemies. God is pleased with all those that stand against what He, Himself, hates. Thanks to all those who fight to keep violence away from our country and our children. God is very proud of you and so are we.
We don’t need another 9/11 to remind us how important it is to take a stand against evil.
What does God think about
what our troops are doing?
God is love and it’s that simple. He wants all of His people to have an angelic spirit. We admire our troops for going half way around the world to help people they don’t even know.
Most people won’t go half way around the block to help someone they do know!
Our Greatest Weapons!
It is important that our men and women have the best weapons, protection, and intelligence at their fingertips. If we are asking them to lay their life on the line for our liberties, then we owe them that. But it is our prayer that they don’t forget the most powerful weapons available, also at their fingertips. In Ephesians 6 we learn about the Armor of God. Understanding that God wants the best for us and that we are created with so much purpose, should empower each of us daily. God strengthens us all through the knowledge and wisdom of His word and the joy we experience in eternal Salvation. Yes, life is a physical battle, but more importantly it is a spiritual battle. Those that have looked a terrorist in the eye surely have seen the face of Satan. We may be fighting evil in the form of flesh and blood, but what motivates that flesh and blood is Satan, himself.
We want to encourage everyone to make sure they don’t go into battle without the Salvation and power of the Lord. Being a child of Almighty God means that we are forever under His watchful eye. Just as the Israelites carried the Arc of the Covenant into battle, you can allow the Holy Spirit to lead you into each battle knowing that God, Himself, decides when each of us take our first breath and our last. We were created for His purpose, not our own.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to the Marines and Sailors of 1st Battalion 8th Marines Bravo Co., as well as Marines and Sailors who serve with 1st Battalion 2nd Marines, and other Marines who come our way. Their deployments to Iraq have truly taken them to hell and back. Marine Support Network undertakes projects that we hope will be spiritually and emotionally uplifting for these young men, as well as for the families of those Marines who lost their lives in Iraq. We also hope to provide financial gifts that will aid them with legal, educational and medical expenses they are unable to pay. We strive to keep these Marines and their families, and the families of those who died, informed and connected.
The need is great and donations much appreciated. Donations to this nonprofit entity are not tax deductible.
www.TalkingwithHeroes.Com is a Talk Show that gives our military personnel an opportunity to share their mostly untold stories about the positive work they are doing worldwide. Guests include military men and women, leaders from military support and veterans groups, ministries, companies, entertainers and others who help support our troops and their families. The show is not about politics. We have been to Iraq three times now bringing back progress stories most Americans are not hearing.
